Pokemon Fan Crafts Sweet Redesign: Meet Chokorita
A talented Pokemon enthusiast has crafted a delightful new version of Chikorita, transforming the iconic pocket monster into a chocolate-inspired creation. Named Chokorita, this charming concept has recently gained attention online, showcasing the incredible creativity within the Pokemon community.
When it comes to fan art inspired by the beloved Pokemon franchise, redesigns have consistently been among the most popular projects. Countless imaginative reinterpretations regularly surface online, and MunchyColors, a prolific 2D artist, stands out with over a hundred distinct creature redesigns in the past 12 months. From vibrant renditions of Teddiursa to adorable variations of the ice cream Pokemon Vanillite, MunchyColors consistently demonstrates creativity in his work. Following the design of Halloween-themed versions of the Kanto starters, the artist directed his artistic vision towards reimagining the Generation 2 starter, Chikorita.
The result of MunchyColors’ creative endeavor is an unbelievably cute creature that appears to be dipped in liquid candy, featuring a biscuit-colored body and chocolate dripping from the leaf on its head. In contrast to the original Johto region starter, adorned with small flower buds around its neck, this inventive redesign showcases a necklace made of tiny strawberries, enhancing the delectable concept. Aptly named Chokorita, the artwork encapsulates the essence of the newly introduced redesign.

This is not the artist’s first attempt at turning beloved Pokemon into delicious treats; recently, MunchyColors shared a Mudkip concept on Instagram, reimagining the Generation 3 starter as a hot cocoa-inspired creature. The artist also unveiled a mouth-watering Wooloo with a Christmas cream texture, showcasing a consistent talent for making Pokemon look irresistibly tasty.
