The Linksys extender is a device that comes with the most powerful and advanced technical features and useful settings. The advanced settings and features enable the extender to perform in its optimal state. That’s why right after completing the Linksys ax1800 setup, you must make changes in those settings and enable them. The first feature among the others is Site Survey which will give a snapshot of the routers that exist in the range of your extender. Once you click on that option from the web interface, a lot of options will be visible on the screen. Such as the wireless SSID network name, GHz bands, security encryption, signal strength, and many more. 

Then, another valuable feature is QoS which prioritizes the data packages according to the traffic classes. After that, there will be an option for cross-band which enables the simultaneous use of both frequency bands for high-speed data transfer. When you choose this, the extender automatically selects the appropriate band from 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz and transfers data to the router at a fast speed. Lastly, use the Access Point option to restrict the devices for access and allow or deny them as you want.
